I have used Oregano oil, Coconut oil, Acyclovir, Valacyclovir, Famciclovir, and some other products and it’s really help during my outbreaks but I totally got cured from HSV1&2 with a strong and active herbal medicine ordered from a powerful herbalist called Dr. Riaria and it completely fought the virus away my nervous system and I tested negative after 14 days of using the herbal medicine. Take valtrex. Where sunscreen on lips. Get enough sleep. Wash hands a lot.
Try to reduce the amount of stress or try to manage your stress levels. Also boost your immune system, when you have a strong immune system and you're not run down you can help prevent break outs.

Also taking things like antiviral medication or lysine regularly can help prevent break outs.

There is no cure for herpes so far. But you can protect yourself from it by using a condom. Since herpes is spread by skin to skin contact (usually if there is an open sore present but not always) then a condom is the best way to protect yourself. But keep in mind that this is not 100% effective. The only 100% way to protect yourself from herpes and any other STD is abstinence (not having sex: this includes anal, vaginal, and oral).

There is no shot for genital herpes or cold sores.

There is a shot for chicken pox (a type of herpes virus) and for shingles (a recurrence of chicken pox called herpes varicella-zoster).

It is unlikely and probably only coincidence if it happens in an otherwise healthy adult.
