if you are on the pill, yes. if you want it to start, stop taking pills before you're done the pack. I've never tried it, but i would suppose that you could also delay it thus, by continuing to take pills on your "week off".

You can't make your period come early - menstruation is determined by your menstrual cycle, which is like a domino effect of hormones controlling different stages of your reproductive cycle, you can't skip phases or the cycle or speed them up to get to menstruation any faster.

You can delay your period - ask your doctor for Norethisterone, this is essentially a progesterone pill that prevents the progesterone drop that would normally trigger menstruation. You take these three times per day from three days before your period and continue them until you want your period.

If you're on hormonal Birth Control you don't menstruate, you get a withdrawal bleed controlled by the drop in hormones when switching from active to inactive pills - thus you can skip your placebo pills in order to skip your withdrawal bleed.
