There are many pennies that average from a few hundred to a few thousand.
There is a unique error wheat penny, a 1943 coin minted at Denver, that recently (2011) sold for $1.75 million. This coin was struck on a bronze blank left over from 1942, while all 1943 cents were supposed to be made of steel to save copper for use in ammunition.
The other 2 mints (Philadelphia and San Francisco) also had similar errors but made a total of somewhere between 10 and 20 such coins, so they're not worth as much as the Denver error.
There is a penny in the year 1972 that is worth half a million dollars.
No wheat cents have yet sold for a million dollars. However, on Sunday, September 6, 2009, a 1795 U.S. large cent sold at the Dan Holmes auction for $1.1 million. This is the first U.S. penny to break the $1 million barrier.

A penny is only a cent, so no, but there are rumors they're working on a million dollar billl that most likely aren't true.
MoreActually, a penny ISN'T just a cent. There are some very old and very rare US Large Cents that sell for several hundred thousand dollars, but nothing has broken the million-dollar level yet.Rumors of a $1M bill are just that, stories. There are novelty "million dollar" notes that can be bought in toy and hobby shops but they're as real as, well, a $3 bill.
Any transaction involving amounts such as a million dollars would be done electronically so there's no need for such a huge bill. In fact, the government has refused to issue any bills higher than just $100 despite calls for a new $200 and/or $500 denomination to counter the effects of inflation. They're afraid that criminals might use them to move large sums "under the table".
A few U.S. one cent coins have passed the million dollar mark, but there is no given year for this high value. Some known dates are: 1793, 1795 & 1943.

Presumably, you refer to the 1 Dollar coin(?). An Australian 1984 1 Dollar coin, uncirculated and in absolute mint condition could fetch up to $15 AUD. They are still in circulation, so unless they are part of a proof set or as previously described, they are worth 1 Dollar. There were over 186 million minted. A reputable coin dealer will be able to advise a more accurate quotation.
The coin is just a dollar spend it.
Ireland does not use the dollar and never has, so there is no such thing as an Irish 1 dollar coin. Ireland was using the pound in 1952, but there was no 1 pound coin. So whatever coin you have, cannot be either an Irish one dollar coin nor an Irish one pound coin from 1952.

If this question is about the coin's value, it's worth one dollar.
No, it is not true that the United States has a $1 million dollar bill.
