Cook until cranberries begin to pop open. Remove from heat, and while its cooling fold softened cream cheese into cranberries and it will melt. While that is cooling, make Jello only ½ way (use only hot water, do not add the 2nd step of cold water once granules are dissolved.) Refrigerate until softly gelled, then add remaining ingredients and mix. Refrigerate until ready to serve. It is very pretty, colorful and festive! umm... the question was actually does jello contain gluten, a protein found in wheat barley and rye, not how do you make it. and yes, jello is gluten-free.
Kraft states that they will put on the label wheat, barely, oats, etc if its their product. look at their website under articles. i bought a book that lists all safe thi…ngs that i can buy at the grocery store and Jello pudding is one of those items The link below says yes, Jello pudding is gluten free.

I was told not to use jello instant pudding with celiac disease. Is your cooked puddings also unsafe, even tho they might not list wheat, barley, rye, malt etc. can it be cros…s contamination that is possible.
Jello brand is safe to eat for those with gluten allergies according to the company (US based) and to Celica.com. If you are referring to a product from another country, you w…ill have to check with the manufacturer about gluten content.

The brand, Jell-O Pudding, is "considered" gluten-free. However, ifa box doesn't have the GF stamp of approval, always read the labelcarefully as ingredients can change often.…

I have recently been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Thinking Jello Instant Chocolate pudding was gluten free after reading the label, I went ahead and made some. After eating …it my stomach began cramping and bloating within 10 minutes. Not believing this could happen because Jello's ingredients are plainly listed, I tried it again the next day with the same result. The food starch they add in the product is either contaminated or it has gluten type fillers, such as wheat in them. The company needs to check into this. My best advice is do not eat Jellow Instant Pudding if you have a gluten intolerance.
