Is this normal '95 Chevy Cavalier has been squeaking a lot so sprayed some belt dressing on the serpentine belt and it flew off but there are no cracks in it?

The bottle might say to spray the dressing while the car is idling but its best to spray it during belt changes or at least be careful just to spray it a little at a time and just on the ridges of the pulleys, not the belt itself or the bolts of the pulleys. If you spray it too much or on the pulleys it makes the tension adjust in the bolts on the pulleys kinda like "unseize" spray for spark plugs, and then quickly tightens it to improve grip, and as a result your belt might pop off. Just be careful.
