What would you like to do?
Is tipping appropriate with prix fixe?
Absolutely. The service provided by the wait staff is separate from the food price so tipping is appropriate and appreciated.

Although prix fixe, commonly pronounced 'prefix', menus are common in Europe, they're still somewhat of a novelty to most Americans. A prix fixe menu is simply a collection of… predetermined items presented as a multi-course meal at a set price. For instance, one evening, a restaurant may offer a prix fixe menu of escargot for the first course, beef bourguignon for the second course, a cheese platter for the third course, and crème brûlée for the dessert course. Most Parisian restaurants will actually offer two or three prix fixe options to diners. Unlike in American restaurants, diners are usually only provided with a paper menu if there is more than one choice of prix fixes for the evening or if the restaurant happens to serve a la carte for dinner, which is somewhat rare and unusual for most of the finer Parisian restaurants. Rather, the prix fixe menu for the evening, along with its cost, is typically posted on a board outside the restaurant. When dining, it's usually not necessary to tell the wait staff when to bring the next course and, under certain circumstances, such as appearing to be in a hurry, can even be considered rude. Servers in Parisian restaurants are a lot more observant than they appear and you will notice your waiter is typically bringing the next course as you are wrapping up the current one. Also, particularly at dinner, take your time and make sure your schedule is clear for the evening. It's not only considered rude but an insult to the chef to rush through a meal at a Parisian restaurant. Another answer is A meal at a fixed price. Example: Choose soup or salad, choose 1 of the 3 appetizers, choose 1 of the 4 entrees, choose 1 of the 3 desserts. 20.00 per person. And another The equivalent term in English is "set meal" or "fixed price meal". The opposite is à la Carte, which means you have a total fee choice, and each course is priced separately. Note "La carte" is the menu, "menu" means set meal. You will often find the set meals are on a separate piece of paper to the main menu, or they may be on a blackboard (common in GB).
The New England states are called New England because they were originally colonies that belonged to England. They were a new piece of England, thus they were called New Engla…nd. Except for Maine, which was then part of Massachusetts, and Vermont, which declared its independence separately, the New England states were all part of the original 13 colonies. These colonies then declared their independence and split from Great Britain in the American Revolution (Great Britain consists of England, Scotland and Wales, and including Northern Ireland, it constitutes the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or just the United Kingdom for short), and went on to become the United States of America.
To fix a line guide that is missing or has a broken insert, it is necessary to take off the guide and replace it with a new one (or used one in good shape). The hard material…s found in the ring inserts - agate, silicon carbide or ceramic product - do not do well when forced into the ring guide and are likely to crack. A local tackle store can usually do a guide replacement for $10-15 for most mid-priced fishing rods. Also, remember that most rod materials these days are sensitive to heat or impact so you don't want to cause a weak spot in your rod by exposing it to either one.
Un menu à prix fixe is the set meal provided by a restaurant, as opposed to the menu à la carte. With the former, a limited choice of 2 or 3 courses is offered at a set pric…e, in the latter each dish on a much longer list has its own price, and you compose your own meal. This is invariably more expensive.
follow this procedure..\n1.Collect two onion root tips and trim so that you have about 2 mm of the very tip.\n. \n2.Soak the tips in a few drops of 1 M HCl in a watch glass f…or about 10 min.\n. \n3.Transfer the tips to a few drops of acetocarmine stain for about 15 min.\n. \n4.Transfer one tip to a few drops of water on a slide.\nLower a cover slip onto the tip and press it down gently so that the tip squashes out to about 7 mm (1/3 inch) around.\n. \n5.Look for mitoses under high power (X40) or under oil immersion (X100)\n(If this fails for any reason try your other root tip)
If your fan control speed #1 stops working and then #2 stops working I believe it is the blower motor modual it is sometimes called blower motor resistor block. It is behind th…e fan motor , up under the passenger side of the dash and against the firewall. If you are looking underneath the dash, you will see a little black box in the position I described. It is being held in by 3 or 4 gold hex screws that are (I believe) .25'. Its not the fan motor control switch ....return that $165.00 part .....the blower motor modual is about $25 if you get it wholesale. These parts are usually not in stock and have to be imported from the Czech Republic, so order early.
Do you have a spoiler? Could be coming from the bolts holding it on.
The ABS light comes on when there is a problem in the system. Bad sensor, pump, etc. As far as I know the ABS uses it's own computer and is difficult or impossible (in most ca…ses) to pull codes from to find out what the exact problem is. About the only option you have is to take it to a shop to have it put on a scanner. That or start replacing parts at random. It should be fixed as soon as you can, however, when the ABS stops working you WILL NOT lose your brakes. It simply operates like a pre-ABS system.
just do it yourself...takes about 7 mins no joke. all you have to do is remove the t-stat housing and its right in there. you have 4 bolts to take off (max)
i broke down and paid to have this fixed. My mechanic said this is a fairly common problem on the older grand prixs. He had to replace the relay as well as the blower motor, …total cost was $400.
You will have to replace the regulator assembly.
I have a 1997 GTP and my shift lock went out. I fixed it. I pulled off the plastic shroud by my shifter. If just snaps on. I then took a rubber bumper ( thinks thick washer bu…t made of rubber) and cut it so it would open like the letter C. Then i used a big standard screw driver to open the shift lock solenoid and I jammed that bumper in there so it can not close. Was a very cheep fix. Better than the 300 bucks GM wanted. And it has lasted over a year now.
take off the broken botton and put an eraser from a pencil resize it if needed
Hey Michael==The problem is in the controler which is in the control pannel and it needs to be checked out. GoodluckJoe
Answer If the trouble is the speedometer itself, you can't; but it could be the sending unit and that can be replaced fairly easily. If you remove the right fron…t wheel and move the skirt it can be seen on top of the transaxle extension. If your speedometer AND odometer have ceased to work this is the culprit but if the odometer works accurately but not the speedometer you need another instrument cluster to get a new speedometer.
'Prix fixe' is French and thusly is pronounced 'pree feex.' This refers to a menu where a meal of many courses with only a few choices are available, charged at a fixed pr…ice. Many American restaurants use this style of menu for holidays, such as Valentine's Day, whereas it's very commonplace year-round in other countries.
An important factor in house keeping is to have a place to be able to put everything away. Any household chore is more tiresome when you have 'stuff' everywhere. So the fi…rst step is de-cluttering. The next factor that makes house keeping easier is not saving everything up to do at once. One trick is to do one small extra chore whenever you are doing a routine job such as; on the way to doing a load of laundry, dust something with a t-shirt or a towel; when washing up after a meal, clean one additional item, such as spray clean the outside of the microwave, sponge down the inside of the microwave, wipe down the hood over the stove or the control panel of the stove, etc. Keep an old washcloth handy and wipe down the bathroom sink area every time you use it. Wipe down the mirror after a shower. Just one little thing at a time adds up. When you have to 'clean the house', you won't have to stop to do all those little fussy jobs. Of course, any household tips depend on the number of people in the household. When there are two or more people residing together, it is always helpful when you can use teamwork. If you listen to music it makes it more fun and gives you the energy to get it done.
