Try Sweet Potato tops. Boil these leaves for 5 mins (add a pinch of salt for flavor) then drink the soup. The more concentrated, the better. You may also eat the cooked …leaves. In tandem with this, avoid food and drinks that contain "Quinine" as this is said to lower Platelet count. Quinine is found in many carbonated drinks like tonic water and softdrinks. It is always best to consult a medical professional. Sonny J2
It can be the common thing in cancer patients. It would be better for low platelet count patient to eat green vegetables and food which generates blood. If you infuse the plat…elet bag, then try to get the platelets of the same blood group. Like if your patient is having B+ blood, then donor should be having B+ blood. Try to infuse the platelet of family blood like if your father is suffering from this thing, then son should give platelets to him. That will definitely increase the time for next bag infusion.
my penis in white sport and platelets count 1,20000 and sugar random 200 please advised treatment
Platelet counts can be increased through diet. There are several foods that can increase platelet counts, some of these foods include kale, spinach, and tofu.
My doctor said to try pineapple. It really helps!
When you need to increase your platelet levels it is recommended to avoid sugary foods. Sesame oil, kale, oysters, and lettuce are said to increase the level of platelets …that the body produces.
2 years before, even i suffered with the reduced platelets count. My platelet count was almost decresed to 40,000. But the only advise given by the doctors ar that time …to consume more and more sweets. It may be in the form of fruits, chocolates ice creams anythig.. but the sugar content should be more. And for my suprise my Platelets count got increased tp 4,00,000 with in 10 days. you can try this..... Priyanka
Steroids inhibit the enzyme phospholipase a2 which is known to degrade platelet activating factor. So the degrading enzyme is inhibited and more PAF is allowed to be in the se…rum.
One way of increasing the platelet count is taking medication for the blood. This is very effective medicine but there are also some situations that patient are not allowable …to take this medicine. Here is the name of the medicine; YU NAN PA YAO... this is good for hypovolemia (hemorrhage), dengue fever patients & some types of diseases that causes the platelet to decrease. by the way this is a Chinese medicine and you can buy this in any Chinese pharmacy.. Note... Do not give this to any hypertensive patient. Just read the dosage of YU NAN PA YAW medicine in additional to your information.
take greenish organic food against fast , oil , Stored,
GHee or butter
I don't know what's in it that works, but it works. About a year ago my mom was searching for information on things I could eat to bring up my platelet count because I was mis…sing chemo because they were too low. She found info on papaya leaf extract and my grandfather ordered some from Mountain Meadow Herbs. I was very skeptical, but tried it anyway. Putting about 1 tablespoon in my sweet tea every day after chemo. Usually I would drop to 10,000 - 30,000 platelets per mcL at the end of the chemo week and a week later my body on it's on or with a transfusion would bring them up to about 60,000 per mcL. After the papaya extract it would bring them to about 100,000 - 160,000 per mcL. I did find if you're on a chemo that attacks platelets very badly, don't take it the week after chemo, it will go even lower sometimes. Take it after your counts have dropped about as much as they are going to. I don't know about fresh papaya, we were only able to get a hold of premade extract but it seems to work as well as the reports I've heard about the fresh leaf extract.
spinach,beetroot, carrot,leavy vegetables,drumsticks leaves....
In adults one pack of platelets will increase the platelet count by 10,000/ml (Unless there is no destruction of platelets eg: in immune thrombocytopenia)
Do to bone marrow failure my platelets are checked every few mos. My levels have been somewhat low - 95 as well as my RBC around 3.22 - those are the numbers from Aug. 20/…13, but had a retest (always same lab) Sept. 27/13 and they had both jumped: RBC 3.65 and platelets 173!! I would like to know how this can happen with no changes except meds for the first time in my life, for what was a dangerously high BP and long standing tachycardia that brought on a sudden profuse nose bleed a few mos. ago. Had to call 911 for help in stopping the nose bleed - took 2 hrs. Thank you :)
An increased platelet count can cause clots. These usually occur inthe veins. If a person has a hole between the chambers of the heart(about 10% do and don't know it), the clo…t can travel to the braincausing a stroke. If no hole, the clot will travel to the lungscausing damage there also.
