Here is the G2 Story Line :

It is recommended to be Level 25 or higher in order to begin the G2 mainstream scenario. As of February 26th, 2009 Generation 2 mainstream quests no longer require a paid service. Also, you no longer need to have a paid service to use 'Spirit Of Order' once you finish Generation 2 mainstream quests.

Requirements: Your character needs to be at least level 10

Note: G2 requires that you solo everything (except for Ideals). You cannot receive help from other players.

Skipping G2:There is ABSOLUTELY no possible way to skip G2.

Esras Information Requirement: You must have the keyword "The Knight of Light" obtained at the end of G1 mainstream scenario or from talking to the Weird Cat in Duncan's House. Instruction

1. Log out and log in or change a channel to get the message from Goddess Morrighan asking you to become the Knight of Light. (Until you do, you will always enter an empty throne room.)
2. Talk to Craig or almost anyone in Emain Macha using the keyword "The Knight of Light" and obtain the keyword "Paladin".
3. Talk to Craig, located at the Paladin Training Grounds northwest of Emain Macha, with the "Paladin" keyword.
4. Talk to Rian in the Castle with the keyword "Paladin". Esras will ask you to donate 4,000 gold. Click [Donate]. You will receive a (2x2-sized) paper with the lord's recommendation.

• Note that the Strategy Guide says you have to pay up 10k, but this is a typo. You just need to pay up 4k.

Training PassTraining Pass Name Training Pass NPC Craig Information Must be soloed. Instruction

1. Talk to Craig with the Lords' Referral and he will tell you that you need training.
2. Ask him about "Classes and Training" sometime after 9am. The class costs 300 gold. You will receive "The Paladin Class - 1st Exercise" quest, a Training Pass, and a Red Wing of the Goddess which can transport you to Barri Dungeon.
3. Drop the Training Pass on Barri dungeon altar and complete the dungeon. It is a solo pass.

• It is still 3 Floors, similar spawn. Boss is Kobold Miners.

1. Complete the quest.
2. You will have to return to Craig and complete a total of 5 training missions in Barri dungeon, then 1 training mission in Math Dungeon.

• You will be given a new Red Wing of the Goddess with each new mission.
• Be sure to exit the dungeon by clicking on the Statue, otherwise the quest will not be considered "completed" and you'll have to do it again.
• If you bring Wings of the Goddess with you and do not exit the Dungeon into Bangor, then you may use them to return to Emain Macha more quickly.

• The one in Math dungeon is about 1/4th the length of the actual Math. Still has normal spawn, but thrown in some Mini Skeletons (rare spawn).
• Boss is Triona and Ruairi, in a locked normal room. You will see a cutscene once you reach it.
  • You will be allied with 4 Paladins In-Training during the fight.
    • Beware that their Splash Damage can hit you.
• Triona has about 100-150 HP and cannot attack you. Defeat her (Smash preferably), or let the allied Paladins defeat her, to initiate the next cutscene.
• Ruairi on the other hand, is like a Elf/Giant Guard. 100% Protection, 1 million CP, Infinite HP, and the like. All your attacks do 1 damage, but his attacks do 200~300. Have him defeat all the Paladins In-Training to end the dungeon (all you can do is watch your allies get defeated).

Information Price moves all over Erinn, making him hard to find. Use Mabinogi World's Price timer located under the Moongate timer on the left-hand toolbar for help.

Notice: Player will be asked to solo a number of rooms in Fiodh Dungeon (Normal), make sure to go in there with preparation. Instruction

1. Upon clearing Math dungeon, exit the client and re-log to see the first message from the goddess.
2. Obtain the keyword "Lugh, the Knight of Light".
3. Talk to Gordon at Emain's restaurant using the new keyword. Obtain the keyword "Redire".

(optional: talk to Nele with the keyword "Redire" to learn that you have to talk to Price)

1. Talk to Price using the new keyword and obtain an old cloth and a Red Goddess Wing to Fiodh Dungeon lobby (Price appears all over Uladh). A short cutscene follows.
2. Enter Fiodh dungeon by dropping the old cloth item. There will be hard monsters like Gorgons and Werewolves. After clearing a number of rooms (7+)in it you will see the ghost, and then you will be moved automatically to the dungeon entrance and obtain the keyword "Ghost of Lugh".
3. Talk to Price again using the keyword "Ghost of Lugh". Obtain the keyword "Redire's Demise".
4. Talk to Craig using the new keyword. Obtain the keyword "Paladin and Dark Knight".
5. Talk to Price again using the new keyword and obtain an envelope and a new quest.

Agnes Information Requirement: You must have the Healing skill and the First Aid skill for the quest that you get from Agnes. Instruction

1. Talk to Aeira at Dunbarton's Bookstore, then open the quest log and click "Complete". You will receive a book called "Food for the Soul for True Good Deeds". Read the book and obtain the keyword "Good Deeds". You may return the book to Aeira after obtaining the keyword.
2. Talk to the Beggar in the north part of Emain's Square. He will ask for money. Divide the gold in your inventory and gift him 1 gold by dragging and dropping it onto him. A conversation will start and he will ask for 1,000 more gold; choose the option to give it to him.
3. Talk to Agnes, Emain's Healer, using the keyword "Good Deeds". You will receive a new quest. The tasks requires you to help other players by first using First Aid, Healing, and then resurrecting players and/or their/your pets. (note: using a single Party Feather will count for all the resurrections. You can also use a single Advanced Feather 5 times using random names or names of people who are not dead. The feather will not vanish, but it will count as a resurrection. Similar to using an advanced feather on players who are not knocked out, using a party feather while you are not in a party will count for one resurrection, and you will keep the feather in your inventory.) Once you have finished, return to Agnes, and then open the quest log and click "Complete". You will receive a new definition to your "Good Deeds" keyword.

1. Talk to Delen in the Square with the "Good Deeds" keyword, and then speak to Galvin about the same. Delen will have an owl deliver a quest to you.
2. Talk to Galvin and bring the Teddy Bear (2x2) to Delen. Then open the quest log and click "Complete". The "Good Deeds" keyword will be modified again.
3. Talk to Del, Delen's twin sister, with the keyword.
4. Talk to Osla, and then talk to Jocelin in the Bank.
5. Talk to Del again, she will ask you to deliver a Bouquet (2x2) to Osla.
6. Talk to Osla again and then complete the quest. The "Good Deeds" keyword will be modified again.

Information Instruction

1. Talk to Wyllow in Emain Macha's Cathedral using the "Good Deeds" keyword.
2. Talk to Aodhan using the "Good Deeds" keyword. He will give you a quest to seek out Aranwen in Dunbarton.
3. After talking to Aranwen, you are directed back to Aodhan, so head back to Emain Macha to talk to him again.
4. Once again, you will be sent back to Dunbarton to talk to Aranwen a final time.
5. Return to Emain Macha and talk to Aodhan again to complete the quest.

Information Instruction

1. Talk to Price using the keyword "Good Deeds". You will receive a Broken Bolt and a Red Wing of the Goddess which will transport you to Coill dungeon.
2. Drop the Broken Bolt on Coill Dungeon altar and enter "Redire's Demise". (No fighting required.) You will then see a cutscene.
3. Talk to Price again using the new keyword "Paladin Requirements". Exit the client and re-login to see the second message from the goddess.
4. Go speak to Tarlach using the newly acquired keyword "Spirits" and obtain "Aer, the Spirit of Water" keyword.
5. Now you must go speak to Aer on Ceo Island.

Note: At this point, it's usually a good idea to bring a tent with you to the island so that you may return to it later without the use of a Moon Gate. However, using a tent requires that you die and revive at your tent, and also requires that you do not log out or change channels. Using a Flyer and Return Coupon to go back may be a better idea.

• Note, this quest is considerably time consuming and will need full cooperation in attentive skills and help from other players

Instruction

1. Talk to Aer using new keyword from Tarlach. She will give you the "Ideal Look" keyword, and asks you to ask people what their Ideal Types are.
2. An owl will deliver a Find the Ideal Types quest to get 3 notes on ideal types from Tir Chonaill. Ask NPCs about their Ideal Look, then you'll have a chance to enter the name of a player nearby who matches it (a couple, like Trefor and Malcolm, only have eyes for one NPC, and want that name only). If that person meets their requirements, they will give you a note on ideal types in their town. Collect 3 notes from Tir Chonaill and complete the quest.
3. An owl will bring a similar quest for Dunbarton. Then Bangor, and, lastly, Emain Macha. You can collect notes from towns in any order; you will just receive the quests to turn in the notes in this sequence.

1. After the quests for each of the four towns are done, you will receive one more Find the Ideal Types quest.
   1. Talk to Aer.
   2. Talk to Nele.
   3. Talk to Aer.
   4. Talk to Nele.
   5. Deliver Nele's score scroll to Aer. You will receive the "Mythril Mine" keyword.
2. Complete the quest to receive "Aer's Letter".

Note: An alternate way to do this quest without using a Camp Kit, or for those who have weak connections is to buy a set of Wings of the Goddess in Emain and wait for the Ceo Island gate. Use the wings to immediately return to the square after speaking with Aer. On foot, there is a very slim margin for error to catch the gate for the third trip to Ceo Island. However, riding pets give you plenty more time to complete the quest.

Note: You can also use a Flier to complete this quest.

Note: Another way is to get 4 Friend Summoning Caps. Have 1 Friend go with you and stay near Aer in Ceo and the other friend stay near Nele. After you talk to the NPC, tell them to summon you. You just repeat until you're done.

Edern Information Instruction

1. Talk to Gilmore in Bangor about Mythril Mine. He will take the letter and give you a Mythril Mine pass for Barri dungeon to mine Mythril. (After using the first pass, you can speak to him with the keyword to get another, but subsequent passes will cost you (100G, 200G, 400G, ... up to a maximum of 6,400G.)
2. You may only be in Mythril Dungeon for an hour before being forcibly taken out. Pace yourself with that in mind.
3. All in all, you will need 27 ores and 2 Goibne's Blueprints. Mythril ores are tradeable, but blueprints are not! The ores are obtained from mining ores in the Mythril Dungeon. A single blueprint is given in the reward chest for defeating the dungeon's boss. Thus, at a minimum, you will have to do the dungeon twice to get the two blueprints.
   1. There are many ways to do this quest. One effective way is to defeat the boss and get a blueprint, but then stay in the dungeon and go back a few rooms to mine during the remaining time. By bringing two blessed Pickaxes and storing the Mythril Ore in pets, it is possible to mine over the 27 required ores within the final floor. If you decide to mine first, you may not have enough time to finish the dungeon and get the blueprint, which is more difficult to obtain. If you have a friend who has completed the Mine, you can ask him/her to get the Ores for you.
   2. The boss is a single Ogre Warrior and two Imps. Note that the Ogre Warrior is DIFFERENT from the ones in Barri Normal.
   3. Remember that you need a Pickaxe to mine. 10 ores can stack together. One stack is 2x2 in size. Goibne's Blueprint is 2x2 in size. Be sure that you have enough inventory space before you even enter the mine.
   4. Like other ores, Mythril ores may be bought from other players.
   5. Mythril Ores can be found in the Solea Caves and Connous Underground in Iria.
      1. Mythril Ores are also dropped by enemies in Par Dungeon

1. Talk to Edern. He will first ask you to give him 5 mythril ores. Upon delivery of these ores, he will then ask for a Goibne's Blueprint for Mythril Armor. Deliver it and complete the quest.
2. Wait for the next quest (~2 in-game hours).
3. Deliver 5 more ores to Edern. Complete the quest.
4. Wait for the next quest (~2 in-game hours).
5. Deliver 10 more ores to Edern. He will ask for another Goibne's Blueprint. Deliver it and complete the quest.
6. Wait for the next quest (~2 in-game hours).
7. Deliver the final 7 ores to Edern. Complete the quest to receive the armor and the keyword "Mythril Armor".

RP Quest - Ciar DungeonRP Quest - Ciar Dungeon Name Mythril Armor with the Spirit's Blessing NPC Aer Information 1-person RP dungeon. Instruction

1. Talk to Aer with the keyword "Mythril Armor". She will give you "Mythril Armor with the Spirit's Blessing" (2x2) and Red Wings of the Goddess which can transport you to Ciar Dungeon.
2. Drop the armor on the Ciar Dungeon Altar. You will begin in RP Dungeon "Paladin Spirits" as a Spirit White Wolf.

• WARNING: If you drop the armor when it isn't legal for you to enter (In a party, pet summoned, etc.) you will lose the armor and have to go back to Ceo

1. ## Unlike earlier RP dungeons you can upgrade your skills with the AP provided, any AP used will not be deducted from your player.
   1. The dungeon is 2 floors and has mimic, Spirit Raccoons, Spirit Gray Town Rats, Spirit Gray Foxes, Spirit Gray Wolves, Gray Dire Wolves, Black Wolves, and White Wolves, Spirit Jackals, Spirit Brown and Red Bears, and Spirit Brown Grizzly Bear (Sub Boss).
   2. The boss is a Spirit Giant White Wolf.
      1. When she says "I am powerful." or "You'll need to break my concentration. It may be in a blink of an eye, but that's your only chance." attacks will either do her one damage. To break her concentration, you must successfully use Counterattack against her. She will then stay still for a while. Quickly attack (or Smash at your leisure) before she wakes up! Repeat until she is defeated.
2. After you defeat the Spiritual Giant White Wolf, its "Power of Justice" will bond with the Player. You will receive the keyword "Spirit of Order".

Paladin TransformationPaladin Transformation Name Barri Dungeon Pass NPC Craig Information Instruction

1. Talk to Craig and obtain the keyword "Esras' Goal"
2. Complete the quest and enter the Emain throne room, you will obtain the "Barri Dungeon Pass" after a cutscene. You will be instantly transported to Barri Dungeon's altar.
3. Drop the Barri Dungeon Pass onto Barri Dungeon Altar. Clear the dungeon, and you will meet Esras in boss room with Redire.

The dungeon consists of 4 floors.

• (Monsters=Great Mimic, King Mimic, Sickle Laghodessa, Brown, Gray, and Green Gremlins, Flying Sword, Gorgon)
• If you somehow lose the pass, you have to return to the Emain throne room to get another one.
• You will get "Spirit of Order" skill during second cut scene in the boss room. Your HP, MP, SP, Defense, and Protection will increase.
  • If you fail to defeat Tabhartas/Esras, then you cannot use the skill nor rank it up.
  • Note that you do not get "Power of Order", "Eye of Order", and "Sword of Order" from the transformation.
    • Because of this, "the Paladin" title will cover up any other title you are using, and remove any other stat added the Title gave you. Disable "Spirit of Order" if you want to use your previous title.
• Transformation is limitless so long as you don't fail to defeat Tabhartas/Esras or leave the dungeon (Pre-Iria update, transformation can only use once a day).
• You will get "Power of Order", "Eye of Order", and "Sword of Order" skills after defeating Esras. Also, the "Spirit of Order" will be fully understood and you can use it to fend off against your enemies.
• If you have a pet out to help, during transformation cutscene and fall of Tabhartas cutscene, the pets will be drained of their hp and fall unconscious if not un-summoned

When you first enter the boss room, a cutscene will begin and Tabhartas will appear along with Redire. Although your Ex-Paladin friend says to "Stay by my side at all times," --DON'T! Tabhartas will certainly destroy you! Allow the Golem to attack Redire until he is defeated so that the next cutscene can be activated.

Boss #1: Tabhartas

Note: Tabhartas is weakened after the Spirit of Order transformation. Paladin dogs also will be forcibly transformed. Be aware that Tabhartas has wide Stomp range and a very fast speed (a bit faster than all golems to be precise.) It has 100% Wound Rate. Also, it has been fitted with Heavy Stander (always 10% activation). Due to no Mana Reflect or Natural Shield, it can be picked off from Ranged/Magic based attacks.

• Tabhartas's Creation Materials:
  • Tabhartas was made from a Ceo Island Golem.
  • Gold from the Barri Mines and your 4k was used to stablize the Golem.
  • Esras offered Rian as a sacrifice to the Golem in order to maintain control of it.
    • When Tabhartas was defeated, Rian's Body was completely destroyed as well as the Gold and the Ceo Island Golem.

Boss #2: Esras

Note: Esras summons Dark Skeletons when attacked, similar to Glas Ghaibhleann and his gargoyles. They are equipped with Machetes, and only have a one-hit combo. They are easily defeated by Magic+Counter. Esras's fists do very little damage in comparison with her magic. Similar to the fight against Glas Ghaibhleann, you only have to kill Esras. She has a similar AI to the Succubus, and rarely attacks. All she does is normally summon Dark Skeletons.
