My Ipod touch has a blank white screen and nothing identifies it and the day it started i pulled the ipod out and it was hot what should i do?
Okay, this is what you do:
Hold down the middle button (home button), the power button, and the volume DOWN button (make SURE that it's not the Up one). Only the Down button will fix the problem.
Hold all of these down until the Apple sign shows up.
Once the Apple sign shows up, it will work.

I don't know why it happens, but if it does happen hold down he power button and the middle button down the bottom of the touch screen at the same time and your ipod will turn on, no more white screen, it happened to mine about 7 minutes ago. I ! :P This has happened to mine a few times. Just hold down the main menu button, just underneath the screen, and the on/off button down for 10 seconds and your ipod/iphone should turn off and turn back on again. Your ipod should be back to normal.
