Don't worry! Double press the home button and then slide to the right. There should be a circle with an arrow that is going clockwise. If it has a padlock in the centre of it then the orientation is locked. Click on this to unlock it and this should solve your problem. If the button is already unlocked, you should try switching of your iPad (by holding down the lock button at the top of the iPad and then sliding the 'slide power off' arrow) and leaving it for a while. Then switch it back on and it should work. If it doesn't, there is probably something wrong with the balance inside. This could have been caused by it hitting something hard, being dropped etc. You can visit an apple store or there website to find out more information. The websites should be in one of the booklets that came with your iPad.

The switch above the volume rocker can also be set as an orientation lock. If you see a lock symbol with a circular arrow around it next to your battery meter, it means this switch is activated. Slide it the other way to unlock.
Try to leave it for sometime it may be tired or check the supply
If you already have a laptop get an Ipad 2 but if you dont i would say get a Macbook Pro just becuase you can do more work unless you wont to buy all the programs for the ipad2
The main difference between the iPad 1 and 2 is that the iPad 2 is thinner and lighter than the iPad 1. The iPad 2 is also faster than the first iPad and the iPad 2 has front and rear cameras.
It's just iPad.
First of all, orientate is not a proper English word. The correct word is orient. It's antonym is disorient.
No iPad 2 comes in white and black but there are pink cases for the iPad 2.
The ipad 2 is £35.00
ipad 2 is one third thinner than ipad 1 ipad 2 has a dual core 1ghz a5 chip and ipad 1 has a single core 1ghz a4 chip so ipad 2 should have almost twice as much processing power ipad 2 has 2 cameras and ipad 1 doesn't have any cameras
The ipad 1 does not the ipad 2 does.
iPad 2
£13.82, luckily it is only on the ipad 2 and not the original ipad Source: i got an ipad 2 when it first came out.
He did not invent the iPad 2. The iPad 2 is a evolutionary step from the original iPad which was developed by a ten of engineers at Apple.
