Answer this question...
NO. there 2 different things / sensors.
Sensor should be replaced with a new one if this sensor is faulty the engine will not start! the sensor as a sacrificial pin which is fitted up to the timing gear, the pin determines the working gap (1.2mm) and is removed on start up.
Yes it can hurt your engine to drive with a bad knock sensor. The knock sensor should be replaced as soon as possible.
If a car's lights are not working properly, the fuses should be replaced. The light bulbs should also be replaced if needed.
The oxygen sensor is "done". It should be replaced.
If your vehicle has a bad sensor the check engine light will come on. Otherwise they should be replaced as recommended by your service manual.
egnine fan is not working on my 2006 Maxima 3.5 SL
no
I would not expect it, but it could depend on how the car was operating before the sensor was replaced. A sulfur (rotton egg) smell is associated with running rich (improper air fuel ratio). It is possible the engine was running rich with the bad sensor becaues the normal af control system was not working. If there is a smell from the former operation it should be completely gone after a ten mile trip, and it should not come back.
If your security sensor in your 2001 Nissan Sentra 2.0 is jarred or jammed you should have it replaced.
Speed sensors generally are not serviceable. The sensor needs to be replaced. It should be an easy change out, either bolted on or screwed in.
hya i had the same problem with mine one day it was working then while driving it just went off if the speedo is electrics ratha than speedo cable then it is the speedo sensor that bolts into the gearbox it should have a connector up from the sensor cable (blue cable) unclip it from there and unbolt i bought sensor from local scrapyard for £10 and replaced it took 5 min easy job hope this helps
