My mother had an ovarian cyst the size of a rugby balland a hysterectomy performed in one procedure 3 months ago. she feels a small lump on her left side no pain. what might this be?

just been to the docs with my mum. the lump has been diagnosed as a hernia because she was doing too much too soon after her op.
