On heart gold how do you get a red stone?

beat the johto leauge and get acsess to kanto then go to mt. moon go up some ladders after you face mr.rival and youll see a pond w/ clefairy dancing around it when you get near it they run away but one hits a fence and drops a moon stone or do the pokeatholon and wait it will be a prize 4 3000 points

I know you can get them in the Pokethlon dome, at the prize exchange. Check back there every day and every now and then they have them, as well as pretty much every other stone you can possibly get.

There is no such thing as a Green Stone. If you mean the stone that is green with a leaf pattern on it, that's a Leaf Stone. You can get it in the Viridian Forest, from Bill's grandfather, from a Picnicker on Route 34 named Gina, as a first prize in the Bug-Catching Contest, or as a prize in the Pokéthlon Dome.

In order to get the Green Orb (or also called the Jade Orb), you'll first need to obtain Kyogre and Groudon. Kyogre can be found in the Embedded Tower on Route 47 in Pokemon HeartGold and Groudon can be found in the same location in Pokemon SoulSilver. The only way to get the Jade Orb is by trading over a Groudon captured in SoulSilver. You won't get the orb if you have a Groudon from another game other than SoulSilver. After getting these two Pokemon, put them in your party and go to Professor Oak. He will then give you the orb.

Remember: the only way to get Kyogre/Groudon is by getting the National Dex and then going to Mr. Pokemon who will give you either a Blue or Red Orb.
