Sores inside your nose could be caused by allergy irritations, using medications such as inhaled nasal steroids, or other substances, or these could be due to infected hair follicles. Also, excessive picking or trauma to the nose from using tissue can cause sores to occur. If you remove the offending causes and the sores remain and do not get well, then they could be a more serious infections such as viral or bacterial infections (such as a staph infection). In this case you should see your health care provider for additional treatment.
I have been on the z-pak for 4 days. But my nose has been so sore I have been putting Vicks in it several times a day. Should I atop?
Sores inside the nose are from the dry air or a sinusitis of some sort. I use denivir (which is for my sons cold sores, which i don't get) and it clears up pretty quickly. You can also use bacitracin, neosporin... those work too....but the denivir works fast.
I also would like to
Because you pick or scratch it too much.
Oxygen itself will not cause sores in your nose. If you are receiving the oxygen via nasal prongs or some sort of pipe that enters the nose, the pipe or prongs can cause irritation of the skin, resulting in sores.
No, its from allergies
I was prescribed it for sores inside my nasal cavities, so I hope so!
I think you were looking for staphylococci.
Not very likely. The herpes virus that causes cold sores "hides" in nerves and there are very few nerves in the nose area of the face compared to the mouth area.
Yes, unfortunately cold sores can manifest on the chin. They can occur pretty much anywhere around the mouth, eyes, and nose. Additionally, cold sores, because they are the herpes virus, can be spread from those areas to the genitals and anus as well.
Impetigo isn't an incredibly harmful or serious disease. It can cause sores on or around the mouth and nose area, but these sores can often go away on their own within a few weeks.
Cold sores are painful blisters that can be found inside the mouth, on the face and even in or on the nose. You can actually find them anywhere on your body, including genital parts!
If it's a cold sore then that won't do much to help it. Cold sores are caused by a virus, you would have to get some antiviral medication or try taking Lysine capsils.
you can get sores in your mouth or nose (this mainlly happens with chery tomatoes) because they have lots of acid in them. also, if you are allergic you will have an allergic reaction.
Yes some people can get this, but it also could be an ingrown hair. Nose hairs filter out pollution from the air. If the sore spot doesn't go away then please see your doctor.
Only if you are going through an outbreak, this is when the sores are discharging and can infect others by contact.
