Well that depends. In a Catholic mass, there are different parts. But in the church itself, there's really only the congregation, preacher, and the band/choir (if you don't include those in the congregation).
My humanities teacher gave us a labeled hand out of the Chartres Cathedral to memorize of our final. I believe she got the picture from a book. These are the parts of the cathedral, counter clockwise: crocket, spires, tower, trefoil, gable, string course, rose window, lancets, jambs, archivolts, portals, west portal, engaged column, pointed arch, buttress pier, compound pier, triforium, side aisle, nave, flying buttress, tracery, buttress, engaged colonnette, finial, pinnacle, south porch, south portal, rose window, arcade, gables, lancet, apsidal chapels apse, choir, crossing transept roof framing(19th c.), scaffold (used when constructing vaulting), rib vaulting, clerestory.
The People is the Church, you can't put and address on the Church, because when they leave The
House of Pray they go there separate ways. You can only put and address on a House of Pray
Isaiah 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Matthew 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Revelation 3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
The true church is the body of Christ ( the believers ). If you are speaking about the building that services are in, it varies and nothing actually matters since God's Holy Spirit indwells the believers.
If you are speaking of a Catholic Church building, that is another question, for another category.
Well that depends. In a Catholic mass, there are different parts. But in the church itself, there's really only the congregation, preacher, and the band/choir (if you don't include those in the congregation).
a church has an apse, an altar and the stations of the cross in the catholic church, it has pews and of course a rectory.

The important parts of the church (Christianity) are the cross, Bible, Jesus, God, worship and praise.

Christianity can be divided into three parts: the Roman Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, and Protestantism. The Roman Catholic Church and Eastern Orthodox Church split in the 11th Century. Protestantism was born from Reformation in the 16th Century and split from the Roman Catholic Church at that time.
Internal conflicts led to the church splitting into eastern and western parts.
I believe what the statement is trying to convey is that a church's membership, like the parts of the body, each serve a purpose and as a whole, comprise a functioning body.
is it a window
The NT doesn't compare the local church (the church you go to) with a body. But it does compare the universal church (all believers in Christ) to a body. The universal church is like a body because it is made up of many parts (believers). These parts should function in harmony together - just as the many parts of a body function together. No part is more important than another part. Every part has a function.Just as a head leads/controls a body, Christ is the head of the universal church.Comment: Just what do you mean by universal as a mainstream church carries this as part of its name? The Bible calls the Church Jesus established, 'the Church of God,' in about 12 places in the N.T.. Is this your 'universal' Church?? This Church, by the way, has always had the 'little flock.'
They had a church, a market, and slavery, and houses.
The abnegation of the Church's power is occurring in many parts of the world.
