You are in luck, the desired color of healthy human feces is brown. While other colors are acceptable and can even be entertaining, brown is the correct answer. Trace amount of occult blood is nothing to worry about. A particularly robust stool can cause a small rectal tear, leading to the presence of blood. If the occult blood turns from trace to copious, you should be concerned. Fun fact: For a festive fecal color eat a bowl or two Lucky Charms or Captain Crunch with Crunch Berries.
