Patience would be essential seeing that there would be cases where customers would come to you with complaints (sometimes with aggression) so you would have to deal with in a professional manner. W. I am doing a Retail Trainee-ship at the moment and i was asked for 9 qualities that make a person a good customer service representative, i had 8 - 1. Friendliness 2. Politeness 3. Helpfulness 4.
