This list has been hush hush for some reason I know the QMP board met and the list is released late for some reason most CSM should have it by now but no one is saying anything we should know in a couple of days if you find out please send me a copy.

The list will be released 18 Aug 11 by two lists. One will be the selected list, the other will be the considered list.

No.
Sergeant Major William O. Wooldridge Actually, there were 192 "firsts," as the list that announced the first increment of soldiers selected for Command Sergeant Major listed their effective date as 1 Feb 1968. Some could argue that new CSMs in Korea or Japan were the first, but it is moot. You can see that list at: http://ncohistory.com/files/1stCSMList.pdf. For the previous wiki respondant, you will notice that the war hero Sgt Maj Basil Plumley was not even on that list, but was actually selected later with the 3rd increment. You can see that here: http://ncohistory.com/files/Cir611-40.pdf However, Chief of Staff Harold Johnson promoted then Sgt Maj of the Army William O. Wooldridge to the rank of Command Sergeant Major, and included a certificate, signed by him, stating Wooldridge was the first soldier promoted to Command Sergeant Major. SMA Wooldridge proudly displays that certificate to this date.
I heard it will be out on Monday....but who knows

An Army E-7 is called a Sergeant First Class
The United States army consists of twelve ranks. They are, in order of rank, Private, Private First Class, Specialist, Corporal, Sergeant. Staff Sergeant, Sergeant First Class, Master Sergeant, First Sergeant, Sergeant Major, Command Sergeant Major, and Sergeant Major of the Army.
The list will be released 18 Aug 11 by two lists. One will be the selected list, the other will be the considered list.
General of the Army, General, Lieutenant General, Major General, Brigadier General, Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel, Major, Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant First Class, Staff Sergeant, Sergeant, Corporal, Private First Class, Private. Is the list missing specialist?
Do you mean "Ranks"? Rank refers to the promotion grade of an individual soldier. Army ranks starts at Private and goes through Sergeants to the officers such as Lieutenants and up to General. ALL of these ranks are found in an infantry division.
I know of 2 for sure. It is a sad day when good soldiers get denied promotion because of a technicality. Something didn't match from the DA Photo to the ERB to the OMPF. But known DUI offenders make it.
You should be able to get the list from your unit Command Sergeant Major after its official release on 27 May 2010.
i believe they're still sorting out the list, such making the sequences and HRC should have a copy. still waiting. my first look in the secondary.
