Perhaps the alternator is not charging the battery adequately check with a voltmeter A fully charged battery should read around 12.8 (without engine running) With engine running reading should be 13.8-14.2
Bad alternator- not charging battery enough to keep vehicle running check with a volt meter A fully charged battery should read approx. 12.8 volts without engine running With engine running should read approx. 13.8-14.2 volts
Check alternator with a voltmeter A fully charged battery should read approx. 12.8 volts without engine running With engine running reading should be approx. 13.8 - 14.2 volts
If your engine is running , and the battery light comes on , that indicates that your battery is not being charged
Alternator may not be charging the battery sufficienty Test with a voltmeter A fully charged battery should read approx. 12.8 volts without engine running Should read approx. 13.8-14.2 with engine running
Alternator not charging battery sufficiently? Check with a voltmeter: A fully charged battery should read approx. 12.8 volts without engine running. With engine running should read approx. 13.8-14.2 volts
Weak alternator?Check with a voltmeterWithout engine running and a good battery reading should be around 12.8 With engine running reading should be 13.8-14.2
Alternator may not be charging battery properly Check with a volt meter With a fully charged battery and engine not running reading should be around 12.8 volts With engine running reads should be 13.8-14.2 volts
Alternator may not be charging battery sufficiently Check with a voltmeter A fully charged battery should read approx. 12.8 volts without engine running With engine running meter should read approx. 13.8-14.2 volts
That your engine is not running.
