It depends on a number of factors. For one thing, some religions prefer that boys and girls study separately, since it is believed they will distract each other and prevent actual learning from taking place. There are also some schools that have historically been all-male or all female, a tradition going back several hundreds of years. The reason for this is that back in the 1800s, it was assumed boys and girls would need to learn different things, since boys would be making a living and girls would be leaving school to marry and have children. Thus, girls were mainly taught "domestic arts" like cooking and sewing (upper class girls were also taught literature and music, since it was believed a good wife should be able to help her children to appreciate the great writers, as well as how to sing or play an instrument); boys were taught the more "practical" subjects like math, science, history, and skilled trades like carpentry-- whatever they would need for their future careers.
These days, however, society has changed, and it is now widely accepted that male and female students need an equally good education. Having a separate curriculum for boys and girls is not as common, since few girls drop out of school as young teens, and it is no longer a commonly held belief that young women only need to know how to cook and sew. Today, just about every young person needs to master reading, math, science, etc. in order to succeed in life. And while some modern educators believe boys learn best with boys and girls learn best with girls, there is little evidence that same-gender classrooms result in better test scores or more confidence for the students in these classes. Of course, there are exceptions, and some cultures do believe separating the genders is the best way for young men and young women to learn their future roles in society. But in the US, a majority of classrooms are co-educational, and this does not seem to prevent learning from occurring.
It's impossible to be completely objective but generally separating boys and girls serves no purpose other than alienating one sex from another.
no I don't think so.
They should be taught together. Teaching students seperately makes both of the boys and girls feel that is something more the opposite gender.
In my personal opinion no they shouldn't because people of the same gender usually act more rowdy when they are with each other.
yes because the focus more and do much better in school.86% of boy and 75% of girls good better grade when they were separated
No
Yes they should. In the real world boys and girls have to mix so it gives them good practice.

Yes, the boys and the girls were separated in classes.
No, girls should go to a mixed school (boys and girls) because it will be easier for girls to talk to boys when they are older.
yes because less fights and bullying.
Many years back, schools used to be separated by having a boys school and a girls school. I don't think that the race mattered.
no because boys need to learn how to wor with girls its life
It depends on the type of school. Some schools are sex specific - boys only or girls only. Other schools are mixed.
Boys and girls should be in separate classes because the boys fall behind quicker, and interact better with guys. Girls interact better with girls.
The issue is that boys and girls can lie
No.
because boys use urnials and only use stalls to do #2s but girls and boys are made differently and need to be separated for personal reasons
