In a survey 100 students were asked to choose swimming or soccer as their favorite sport Of those 14 more students chose soccer than chose swimming How many students chose soccer?

The answer is 86 because 100 studets were asked and 14 more students chose soccer than swimming so 100-14=86, then halve 86 to make 43 and 43, then add 43 and 14 to make 57 for soccer. So 57 people chose soccer, and 43 people chose swimming. All together it equals to 100 students.

At age 16 they can choose to go to school?

Where I live, at the age of 16 a person can choose to stay in or drop out of school. My 16 year old is hanging out with a bad person, but my mother does not help and can not force him/her to attend school. Although she cannot force him/her to attend school, she is in power to not allow him/her to use drugs. I would chose to do school though to get an education and good living or else what will you do without money? But this is not my decision, but yours.
