Living with someone who hasn't had chickenpox is not a reason to avoid shingles vaccine according to CDC guidelines. In the unlikely event that you get a rash after shingles vaccine, you should avoid contact until the rash has resolved if the household member is immunocompromised. Rash after shingles vaccine is very rare.
