No. The blister is there serving as protection for the underlying wound. Leave it alone and it will break when the time is right. When it does, trim the dead skin way, hit it with an antiseptic like Betadyne, and lightly bandage it.

1.]For most cases, I would suggest leaving the blister alone. Sometimes, though, it becomes quite painful due to the buildup of fluid or blood beneath the hardened skin. If it becomes severely bothersome to the point you just cannot live with it one more second, I would try releasing the blister's fluid with a sterilized needle. You need to avoid further infection, however, so strict measures must be adhered to in order to get the fluid out. There are a few ways to sterilize your needle prior to poking it horizontally through the top of the skin, making a hole, through which you will push the fluid out.2.]To sterilize the needle, there are a few methods you can try. I would use the rubbing alcohol and sterilize the needle by running it over the needle while holding the needle over a sink. Other options include holding a flame over the needle or dipping the end into boiling water. Any of these will suffice. Do wash your hands prior to and after touching the blister. The key is to stop infection from spreading. Draining it will definitely relieve the pain and pressure.3.]Now is when you hold the needle horizontally across the blister and penetrate the thick skin until a hole opens for you to push out the fluid. You can try doing this a few times until you get the "goo" out. Remember to apply pressure as you push from one end of the blister slowly towards the end with the hole in it.4.]Immediately cover with your antibiotic cream and bandage to ward off further infection. You don't want to be spreading bacteria and causing yourself further harm.[Remember its always best to go to a doctor] This answer is from:http://www.ehow.com/how_4622859_pop-not-pop-blister-got.html
