Not a doctor, they will just medicate you which only covers up the problem. See a Chiropractor. It is likely your back is suffering from the trauma. There is trauma to your back even if it was 5 mph accident. Also, whether or not it is your fault, your insurance company (or the other driver's) will cover it.
You both are in trouble. You mentioned that you were rear ended. The other person should have been ticketed for being at fault in the accident . You should have been ticketed for failure to have insurance. The DANCE has just begun. Hopefully no one was hurt. This may lighten your load.
Most of the time the car in the rear will be held accountable for the accident, there are times (albeit few) when this is not the case.
The same as any other accident. If you have damages you submit a claim. If you have no damages then there is nothing to claim.
Yes. Otherwise you may be charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
the driver that rear ended the car. The person that rear ended will probably get hit with a following too close (if they weren't they would have noticed the other vehicle slow down or stop) and an At Fault Accident and the car that got rear ended would probably get an equipment violation for their brake lights out.
Yes, a person who is not a fault and was rear-ended by a huge soft drink trunk to the point that it drove into the trunk and back seat of a mid-size car should be compensated for pain and suffering. My life was changed to in that I still go for medical treatment after 2 1/2 years later and to the point that I feel I do not have a life anymore. This has affected every member of immediate family, outside family and not just me. The man who rear-ended me walked away to work the next day and did not even have to go to a doctor.
Call the police.
If the accident was not your fault (someone rear-ended you, for example), then you would claim on their insurance, and they would pay out.
Yes. In a rear end accident, the liability is still there even if police are not called.
i was rear ended in a 3 car pile up on the highway, whos insurance is liable for my car repairs
Yes. Say that you were invovled in a 3 (or more) car accident, where one car stopped short, was rear-ended by your car, and then your car was rear-ended by the car behind you. Your insurance company would pay for the back of the car you hit and the front of your car. The insurance of the driver behind you would pay for the back of your car and the front of the car behind you.
If he was at fault, regardless of whether he was pulling a camper or not, he would be responsible. Pulling a camper doesnt make you responsible for an accident if that was the only thing you did wrong. If someone rear-ended him, its their fault, if he rear ended someone or ran a red light, then yes, its his fault.
