∙ 9y agoIn the first chapter of The Golden Goblet Ranofer, a Egyptian boy works as a porter in the goldsmith's shop. His brother Gebu is working as an apprentice at the same place. Ranofer wishes he was an apprentice like his brother. In chapter 2 Ranofer suspects that another worker is stealing from the company. He doesn't tell anyone he suspect the other person of stealing. In chapter 3 of the book Ranofer is allowed to make some gold leaves for a necklace. He is happy because he is learning how to be a goldsmith just like his brother.
