There are pages and pages of things that can turn on those lights, you need to have it checked for codes with a scan tool and can diagnose from there.
The TCS light stands for Traction Control System. The light will come on if you turn the Traction Control Off. If you cannot just turn it off by pushing the TC button, Is the Check engine light on also? If it is the TCS light will come on as well. If it comes on without the check engine light being on then there is a problem with the TCS. You would have to have that diagnosed by the dealer.
what causes the engine light and the tcs and slip light to come on
Have vehicle scanned at either auto parts store or reliable repair shop
The computer has detected a malfunction and set a code. You need to have the system checked for codes to diagnose.
Traction control system When it is turned off the light will come on ( button on your shifter ) If you did not turn it off then the check engine light should be on as well, if not then there may be a problem with the tcs system, have it diagnosed at the dealer.
i have an acura 1997 rl and the tcs light on. what can i do?
Yes, the Traction Control System (TCS) light has nothing to do with emissions.
Traction Control SystemTCS, is the Traction Control System. You will see the light come on or flicker when the TCS is activated. If the light says TCS OFF, then turn it back on and leave it on.if tcs illuminates, it means tracion control is activated. however, if tcs off/tcs both illuminate, it means pcm has stopped communicating with tcm, and most of the time, the car then is put in "limp home" mode. when both tcs off/tcs illuminate, there are a whole bunch of reasons why
The lights came on because you obviously have a problem with the abs, tcs, and slip sensors. Theres no way to turn tcs off so if the tcs off light comes on you have a tcs problem and need to get it looked at.
I have a Acura 2002 TL and these both were flashing and my car just needed a tuneup and they went off and stayed off
I had the ABS light the light (which is the TCS indicator light) and the TCS light all on at the same time. Turned out to be one of my ABS sensors. According to my repair manual it states many diff things with all 4 lights involved with the TCS/ABS system. If its just the TCS system and not ABS then you will have only the TCS light on. If you have all 4 lights on (the 3 mentioned above) and the (Brake) light on then you have a problem with your entire ABS system. Hope this helps.
