No, the British won the Battle of the Bunker Hill because after the Americans open fire led by Colonel Williams Prescott , then they run out of fire, and was forced to withraw. British won but suffered heavy losses-more than 1,000 dead and wounded. the British had learned that defeating the Americans on the battlefield would not be quick or easy.
