The only coverage you are required to have is liability. The limits must be set at $15,000 per person for bodily injury. $30,000 total bodily injury coverage per occurre…nce and only $5,000 for property damage.
The minimum amount of coverage allowed varies between states or jurisdictions. In Georgia the minimum limit is 25/50/25 which means a liability limit of up to $25,000 per pers…on with a max of $50,000 per accident for bodily injury and up to $25,000 for property damage. It was changed some years back when it was 15/30/10. For most people both of these limits are very low if you think about what medical costs and vehicles now cost. Just because you have minimum limits does not make your liability any less. If you are at fault in an accident you are still responsible for the damage done to the other party, their passengers, and their property. The limits on your policy is what you decide to purchase. The cost is minor to increase your limits and I suggest that you ask your agent to show you different limits and coverages before deciding on the lowest allowed by law.
This is different based upon the laws of the state where the person lives. Many different states have completely different limits of liability required to register your vehicl…e. Some also require other coverages besides just liability coverage.

There are no guarantees on the road, and it is to everyone's benefit that drivers have car insurance. Because it is required by law, this ensures that if a driver is hit by a…nother vehicle, he or she is taken care of financially. Likewise, if he or she hits another vehicle, paying for the damage doesn't have to come out of his or her pocket. Car insurance adds a degree of safety and financial security for everyone on the road.
What is the minimum amount of liability insurance coverage required for small businesses in the state of Florida?
If you are speaking of non-auto liability insurance for your business, the state imposes no requirements. That said, if you lease business space from a third-party, the lease …may prescribe minimum insurance limits, and will generally require that the landlord be named as an additional insured. The amount of non-auto liability insurance that it is prudent to have is another question. It depends upon various factors, not the least of which is whether your business is open to the public (such as a store). If it is not, you will still want liability insurance to cover potential risk exposures relative to the products that you produce or sell. Overall, you have to look to the risk factors attending your business, and assets that you wish to protect. Your best bet is to consult a licensed commercial insurance agent/broker.
Being able to read. There are a few states were you can 'read the law' and take the bar exam without going to college or getting a law degree. Most states require a law deg…ree (3 years) after the completion of a bachelor's degree (4 years).
For patient privacy you are probably referring to the federal Health Information Privacy and Accountability Act (HIPAA). As far as protecting a patients insurance coverage, HI…PAA does not specifically serve that function.

Individual healthcare is not required by law at this time. However, by 2014, it will be legally required for private citizens to have health insurance. Bu it should be noted t…hat there are plenty of states suing the govt over this mandate.
There is no minimum GPA for lawschools, there is always a school out there that will take you. However, to get into a top school you will need at least a 3.5, but prefer…ably around a 3.7......... the school is not to important to law schools, but the LSAT is. If you have a 3.5 or better and a excellent LSAT score,(160+) you will be admitted to an elite school.
Insurance requirements vary from state to state. Most states require you to at least have PIP (Personal Injury Protection) and PDL (Property Damage Liability.) If you search o…nline for auto insurance requirements along with your states name, you should be able to find something with a listing. Your state's Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles is a good place to start.

What is the federal law requiring employers to permit employees to continue their group health insurance coverage after termination?
The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act or COBRA is what you are referencing. It allows you to keep your group coverage for a specific period of time provided you p…ay the premiums. One very important point here that most people do not know. If you have a family that was covered on the group plan each is eligible independently, you do not have to enroll he whole group. Lilkewise you do not have o enroll the employee but can still enroll the dependents. Say you have a dependent with ongoing medical needs but you are in good health and are willing to run the risk of going without coverage (NOT something I recommend). You can enroll that dependent only and drop coverage for yourself. Also you have 60 days to enroll so take that time to look around for other options.
California's Compulsory Financial Responsibility Law requires every driver and owner of a motor vehicle to be financially responsible for their actions. The statutory mini…mum limits of liability auto insurance in California are 15/30/5 which breaks down as follows: Bodily Injury for $15,000 for death or injury of any one person, any one accident and $30,000 for all persons in any one accident. Property Damage of $5,000 for any one accident. When your car is in an accident for which you are found legally liable, bodily injury (BI) liability covers your liability to others for injuries to them. Property damage (PD) liability covers your liability for damage to someone else's property. All California drivers and owners must have at least the statutory limits of minimum liability insurance or an approved alternative way to pay for injury or property damage they may cause. Penalties are very severe for non-compliance with this section of the vehicle code. for more knowledge, you can contact to a good insurance company like Raisinsurance.
