The change in pitch of a train's horn as it passes while you are standing still can be explained by the Doppler Effect.
Just as any other horn or fast moving sound, When a object emitting loud sound is coming towards you, the sound is compressed and sounds like a higher pitch. When the object is moving away the sound is expanded sounding like a lower pitch.
It's the Doppler Effect. :) My source is school studying. I was a valedictorian in high school. :-D
Doppler effect.
There is a change in rate of energy transfer as time passes because of the amount of energy in both objects. -probably wrong
The energy won't change
It is known as refraction.
transparent
The perceived pitch of the sound drops (frequency decreases) as the source transitions from approaching the listener to receding from the listener. The phenomenon is called the "Doppler shift", after the German Physicist who explained it and worked out the math.
It is called polarizing chemical change
This change of phase is called sublimation.
That is called passing an argument by reference.
Refraction.
Doppler effect.
Refraction phenomenon Typically, the change in wave speed in the material causes the change in direction.
it is called an eclipse
When air passes through your lungs it is called respiration.
