remove the 4 screws that hold the grill in place... remove the front grill...you now have access to the hood release mechanism, the hood can then be opened by prying the notch with a screwdriver. After that you can replace/repair whatever's needed
actually I broke the hood release latch on my 1991 Plymouth voyager, and I can't get the hood open, what can I do?
Go through the gril with a pair of needle nose pliers and a flat head screw driver, pry over the lever and get the needle nose pliers to pull on the cable
Open the hood and look for the white engine information sticker. It will tell you what size engine you have in liters.
Pull the hood release lever near the parking brake on the bottom of the driver's side dash. Push the lever under the hood up and push up on the hood.
It Is located under the hood behind the battery.... you will see a black box flip open the hold down faseners and wala... fuses will be abreveated. This van uses the block type fuses the smaller ones from 5 to 50 amp.
I just had mine fixed at the shop because I went to open the hood, and the handle broke, rendering it ineffective. He had to take off the grill, and headlight in order to actuate the cable that opens the hood, and then of course he replaced the broken handle, which he said is a common occurrence. Junk vehicle.

On the driver side in the engine compartment next to the battery there is a black box. open it and there are 9 relays. three are for the fan. the legend is under the lid.

Open the hood and find the upper radiator hose. Follow this hose to the engine and you will see the thermostat housing. There are two bolts holding the housing on. Unscrew these bolts and you will see the thermostat.
