If you can find a police officer, tell them nicely that you have a very important meeting to go to and if they could move the car so you can leave. If you want to sound extra nice, you can even offer them to park in your drive way when you leave. I doubt they will use it, but it might be what it takes to make them go the extra mile. Ask them politely to move it if you can safely get their attention. If not, call their dispatch and politely ask them to relay the message to the officer(s). Don't be rude. More than likely they are dealing with something you would never want to deal with. Get over it and wait for them to finish. You should be glad that we are out there protecting you day and night. There was probably a good reason that they parked there. Regardless, stay out of their way. If you happen to see someone WHO IS NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF POLICE WORK, you could try ASKING, but good luck. Oh and by the way, if you take the suggestion of the other person, (TELL me to move my car), I'd make you wait longer. Tell them to move their car out of the way because you have somewhere to go. Answer Or if you feel brave move is car yourself they are rarely locked and your chance of getting the key is like 96% they always let the engine run.. but first ask him to move the patrol car if no luck do it :P Answer Just politely ask them to move their car, and use the words sir, and officer as often as possible without using them too much. And whatever you do, do not just tell them to. It is required for them to be polite, but its mean to boss people around, espically when they protect your rights, life, and property.
