June 25,1950- July 27,1953 and the Soviet invasion of Korea started it. After the Soviet Union went in, the US went in to stop it from being a total Soviet state. Hope this helped!:)
The reason why the Soviet Union invaded Germany? Because Germany invaded the Soviet Union first! And Josef Stalin, the Soviet leader decided that he could not trust the Germans to "stay down" once he "knocked them down". The Germans were finally and decisively beaten in battle at Stalingrad (now Volgagrad). The German General Von Paulus was encircled by Soviet General Chuikov in what was actually Von Paulus's favorite maneuver, an encirclement. And the Germans lost about 80,000 men and all that went with that size army to a battle-weary and very angry Soviet militatry. Many Germans never saw their homes again, but remained in Soviet Labor Camps (Gulags) until they died, toiling as slave labor. Most German officers eventually went home, but not until the mid-fifties.
Yuri Alexeyevich Gagarin from the Soviet Union (now Russia).
Because the Soviet Union was blowing all its money in the cold war against America while China was just doing nothing but controlling its own government. So the Soviet Union went bankrupt and collapsed while China stayed communist.

A positive achievement of Stalin's regime was the industrialation of the Soviet Union through the implementation of his several Five Year Plans. The Soviet Union went from an agrarian based economy to an industrialized one. He also developed a comprehensive educational system.
Soviet Union= Communism United States= Capitalism The Soviet Union failed like every dumpster fire Communist country. The United States with Capitalism went on to become the most powerful nation in the world.
