Driving directions from Philadelphia to JFK?

At JFK, you can get a shuttle (called the AirTrain) from inside the JFK terminals to the Howard Beach Station of the A train (of the A-C-E, which is the blue line). The A will take you to Penn Station (34th Street). From Penn Station, you can get the Amtrak train that passes through Philadelphia. There is at least one every day. You will need a reservation for Amtrak, though. I have included a link. In the "From" box, type in "NYP" (for New York Penn Station), and in the "To" box type "PHL" (for the Philadelphia 30th Street Station).

1. Take the New Jersey TURNPIKE (toll) NORTH to I-278 at EXIT 13.
2. Take I-278 WEST to GOETHALS BRIDGE and VARAZZANO NARROWS BRIDGE.
3. Take I-278 WEST through Staten Island crossing both the Goethals Bridge entering into Staten Island and then across the Varazzano Narrows Bridge leaving Staten Island then take the EXIT for BELT PARKWAY EAST to KENNEDY AIRPORT (LEFT EXIT). This will be the first exit past the Varazzano Narrows Bridge.
4. Take Belt Parkway EAST to the NASSAU EXPY (NY-878), the VAN WYCK EXPWY to KENNEDY AIRPORT.
5. When you are on the Nassau Expy (NY-878), stay in the right-hand lane and exit at EXIT 15 to KENNEDY AIRPORT (VAN WYCK EXPY SOUTH).
6. Follow signs to the airport.
