Was America largely unconnected with the remainder of the world during the 1600s and 1700s?
Answer . I believe they were Quakers. . If i may add, i believe it was the Puritans and the Quakers.
They were treated as the inside caretakers, they were made to stay home tend to the children and make sure that dinner was made and that the children were brought up well.

Life was organized with rural areas surrounding a main city. Citieswere built near water sources for trade access.

It was full of hard work, disease, hot summers, cold winters, and the food was portioned. It wasn't that good.

Smith, Jones. Green. White, Brown, Miller, Adams and a lot of names like those. German names were also common, mainly in the Middle Colonies.
