no, they were not brothers because Satan [Lucifer] was an angel and God created the angels. Jesus is not a creation; he is God. God is 3-in-1: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Since he is GOD he wasn't created by anyone, he is and who was, no beginning nor end.
So no, Jesus and Satan are not brothers.

∙ 12y agoYou could say he is my brother but in reality He is my God and my Husband and my Savior. Clarification: Jesus is the Groom or Head of the (universal) Church and the Church is the Bride of Christ. He is a Savior because he came to be the ultimate sacrificial lamb of God when he died and rose again. He is God because he said he was God when he said he was the great I AM.
The concept of brother and sister "in Christ" is really a church concept from the beginning. See the New Testament for the apostles references of others being brothers and sisters in Christ. Therefore I am a sister in Christ but not really his sister (such a familial sister would be).

∙ 10y agoSome ancient and modern sects of Gnosticism, and Mormonism, teach that Jesus and Satan were brothers. Some sects of Gnosticism teach Jesus and Satan were even twin brothers. Contrary to some rumor, as far as I have ever been able to tell, Jehovah's Witnesses do not teach Jesus and Satan were brothers.

∙ 10y agoNot according to the stories in The Bible. Satan was originally an angel who was cast out of heaven by God. He was a bit of a wild card and caused a fair bit of trouble before God got shot of him. His first mistake was that he corrupted Eve.
My religious theology is a bit rough but in layman's terms he started a rebellion against God then his followers nipped off to Earth because they found human Woman attractive (Bet you cant guess what they were up to?).
Eventually Satan questioned Gods right to exclusive rule. It caused a war between God and his angels and Satan and his followers . Satan lost and was cast down to Hell with his entourage.
