It is very possible that he was either black or of middle eastern descent and pretty unlikely that he was caucasion. The Middle East is known as the cradle of civilization because most of the early biblical history took place in that area.
Answer # 2
You can not be a Jew (of Judah) and be of the tribe of Dan. There are 12 tribes of Israel (actually 13 if you include Levi). Samson was of the house of Israel, which which is directly from Adam (eth-ha-adam).
The name Adam is from the Hebrew words 119 and 120. The definition of these words it one who is rosy complected, one who shows blood in the face, blush or turn rosy. Knowing that definition which follows the people of the house of Israel, you can understand that Samson was not dark skinned which are defined by the Hebrew words Kedar
and Arab. Arab means not darkness and not light but more like dusk (mix of day and night).
Samson was a Judge over the house of Israel. His mother and father raised him as a Nazarite,
which is why he had long hair (vow of the Nazarite).
Cutting his hair, ended the vow.

Answer: The original designation of the Israelitish people was the Hebrews, as the descendants of Abraham. Thus Paul was appropriately called a Hebrew, and still later the terms Hebrew and Jew were applied with little distinction.
A Jewess is a woman of Hebrew extraction, without distinction of tribe (Acts 16:1; 24:24 KJV).
No. He was Jewish, therefore he was Middle Eastern and was not African.
Answer:
Abraham descended from Noah's son, "Shem"... and his son, Eber... from whom the "Hebrew" peoplegot their name; and who are ofthe Caucasian race [see Gen.11:16-26].
Yet, in Abraham's grandson, Jacob [surnamed, "Israel"]... a more "colorful" chapter began to develop among Abraham's descendants. Israel [Jacob] had "two sister-wives" [Leah and Rachel] who bore him children... and they each gave him one of their maidservants, Zilpah and Bilhah, respectively [in an apparent rivalry between the sister-wives] to bear him more children than the other; where each child born to the maidservants were "credited" to the respective wife of Israel.
It was a productive rivalry that resulted in [besides an undisclosed number of daughters] Israel becoming the father of TWELVE SONS. From each of which descended one of the "twelve tribes" of Israel.
The "color" of Israel's wives isn't disclosed... although they are revealed to have been ['kissin'] "cousins."
"...Isaac called for Jacob, blessed him, and said, 'Do not marry any of these Canaanite [black] women. Instead, go at once to Paddan-aram, to the house of your grandfatherBethuel, and marry one of your uncle Laban's daughters..." (Gen.28:1-2 NLT New Living Translation).
This would suggest that Israel married within his Caucasian race -- and the children born of these two women would have been primarily"white."
The races of the two sister's maidservants, on the other hand, isn't mentioned. One or both of them could have been "black" [or red, or yellow, or...], and the children they bore Jacob may well have yielded the afore mentioned "colorful" addition to Abraham's descendants [with the mixing of their racial traits] -- andIsrael's sons and the tribes of Israelprobably were [and ARE]a very "colorful" people who are scattered among the nations to this day.
As for "Samson"... he was not a "Jew" of the tribe of Judah [born to Leah, Israel's Caucasian cousin-wife - Gen.29:31-35]. Samson was a "Danite" of the tribe of Dan.
"...a man named Manoah from the tribe of Danlived in the town of Zorah..." (Judges 13:2 NLT).
Manoah's wife bore him Samson [verse 24].
And Dan, it turns out, was "credited to Rachel" by being born to BILHAH, Rachel's maidservant.
"So Rachel gave him Bilhah to be his wife, and Jacob slept with her. Bilhah became pregnant and presented him with a son. Rachel named him Dan..." (Gen.30:4-6 NLT).
While Samson's "skin color" isn't disclosed in the Scriptures -- circumstantial genealogical biblical evidence suggests that he could have been any number of possible colors or skin shades... as neither Bilhah's [nor Zilpah's] racial makeup is mentioned.
But, with all twelve of Israel's sons having a common Semitic father, Samson is revealed in The Bible to have been, at least, of mixed descent.

HBO is a liberal organization, lets have diversity instead of fact. Samson was from the first 12 tribes of Israel, there were no black Jews in Israel at that time.
