I disagree as there is no documentation that Galba killed his own wives nor children; in fact, his children outlived him. There is no documentation he murdered his friends either. He did put citizens to death without a trial, however, and had a reputation as a cruel leader.

∙ 13y agoCruelty and greed were the two characteristics that Galba displayed most often. He was a strict disciplinarian with his troops and as governor, ruled his province with an iron fist. He was the one governor who actually crucified a Roman citizen, saying the man should hang higher than the rest and have his cross whitewashed.
