- Bill Clinton (42nd President) was born William Jefferson Blythe, but his father died before his birth and his mother remarried, to Roger Clinton Sr., in 1950.
- Barack Obama (44th President) is the son of Barack Obama Sr., from whom his mother was divorced when he was 2. His stepfather was Lolo Soetoro of Indonesia.
