Were is Caesar Chavez buried?
Cesar Chavez (March 31, 1927 - April 23, 1993 ) was the founder (leader) of the mostly Hispanic Farm Workers Union of America. The purpose of the Union was to try and get …basic safety standards and wages for the migrant farm workers of the California and western areas of the US. Chavez was noted for many techniques to gain recognition for the Union. He went on hunger strikes, and he lead various boycotts, like the lettuce boycott and the grape boycott, in which the people would not buy those products until the farm owners recognized the Union and/or provided benefits for the farm workers. He was born in Yuma, AZ.
His issues were economic fairness, worker health and safety and better living conditions for migrant workers. Samuel Gompers and Jimmy Hoffa sought the same things. None of th…ese were "bleeding heart liberals", socialists or communists, just people seeking a way to help achieve the American dream. America was built on capitalism and a dream for something better. Caesar believed that America owed the non workers and non producers something of value. Jimmy Hoffa obtained the same idea but with bullets and coercion. Gompers aided the enemy during WW1 in dividing the workers between America and the union. America won the war but the unions won the country.
Cesar Chavez died on April 23, 1993, of unspecified natural causes people think he died from old age.

Under United States Labor Law, the National Labor Relations Board has no jurisdiction over agricultural workers. This goes a long way to explain why so many agricultural worke…rs have such poor lives in the United States. Largely as a result of Caesar Chavez' work, in 1975 California passed the Agrcultural Labor Relations Act. As a result, in the State of California, agricultural workers have rights that they do not have in other states.
