What year Acura TL 3.2? Very important question because besides the strainer inside the fuel tank (which need not be replaced unless your fuel pump goes) on many of the newer models THERE IS NO FUEL FILTER! No Kidding!! I'll say it again and save you hours if not days of aggravation trying to find one; but THERE IS NO IN-LINE FUEL FILTER for many of the TL's (I believe from 2000 back there was one) *BUT I have a 2001 TL 3.2 and am SURE the is NONE! If yours is 2001 or newer pretty good chance there is none also. Hope this helps you a bunch! Jevin
Where is the fuel filter located on a 97 acura tl
The fuel filter is located in the fuel tank on a 2000 Acura 3.2 TL. The filter is attached to the fuel pump.
In the gas tank

There is no external fuel filter on the TL, like most new cars. The fuel quality has improved so much that manufacturers feel that there is no need for external fuel filters. Instead all there is, is a "sock" which is attached to the fuel pump and is not serviced seperately.
