To become a nurse you have to no about the human body, so i would think Biology would be of use. Also, you can get a nursing degree, but you have to have at least 12 months experience in a hospial before doing so. I would suggest getting this experience by voulenteering at a hospital. Hope i helped!

Obviously any top University would be looking for an A grade in GCSE Biology and Chemistry, as well as a high grade in these subjects at A-Level. Other GCSEs depend on what you like and what you are good at: these might include a foreign language, history, geography, Maths and English. Just avoid "soft"subjects such as Business Studies, ICT, art and PE. These are considered too easy to merit a place at University, so choose more academic subjects.

It varies for different universities, but for most you need at least 5 GCSE grades at A*-C including maths, English language and a science. However, you will also need A Levels or A Level equivalents

In order to become a midwife, a person needs to complete a graduate degree and take midwife training. It is also a good idea to volunteer with other midwives to gain experience.
