There's no set GPA...really, there isn't. Take it from someone who goes there! Some people here had straight A+s, others were A/B students. As long as you have solid grades and test scores, it's worth a shot. They'll look at your whole application, activities and recommendations included, before they make a decision. There's no magic formula or number to get in, so just try!

* High school GPA of at least 3.5 in a rigorous college prep curriculum in an accredited or state-approved high school and an ACT score of at least 28 * High school GPA of at least 2.5 in 17.5 specified high school units and an ACT score of at least 20 * 16 of 17.5 specified high school units with a GPA/ACT combination of 2.5/22, 2.7/21, or 3.0/20 * Other combinations of GPA on the 17.5 specified high school units and ACT composite score equivalent to the predicted success based on the 2.5 GPA and 20 ACT. Student athletes will be held to standards provided by the NCAA, which consist of a 2.5 GPA on a 13-unit high school core with an ACT of at least 17. Students identified as having the potential for success at LSU but who do not meet admissions standards can participate in a summer program that replaces ACCESS. Students must complete six college-level credit hours with a 2.5 GPA during the summer before their freshman year. At least three hours of those credits must be in English or math.

Well, keep in mind that your GPA is not the only deciding factor in their decision. However, I had a 3.8 and I got in and received $24,000 in scholarships.
