Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) believe in the "Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost, which is one God" (Book of Mormon, 2 Nephi 31:21) They believe that the Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Ghost are perfectly united in purpose, and thus "one God". However, they DO NOT believe that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are the SAME being. They are three separate and distinct beings. The Father and Son have perfected, resurrected, glorified bodies in the same image as man's (Genesis 1:26) while the Holy Ghost does not have a body, only a spirit. Members of the Church pray and worship God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as he is the "mediator between God and man" (1 Timothy 2:5). To worship or pray to anyone or anything else is considered heresy.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) worship one God. To worship any other god or object is blasphemy.

However, it must be noted that worship is different than belief. Many Mormons believe in the possibility of the existence of other gods. These gods would be gods of other universes- they have nothing to do with us and are therefore not to be worshipped. Many Mormons also believe that mortal man has the potential to become like God - not to take the place of God, but to be an equal to Him and to preside over a world of their own. Some Mormons do not believe these concepts, but it is a common belief in Mormonism.

Dear Sister F, what a treasure she is. I would however like to add to her first paragraph that of "To worship any other god or object is blasphemy". This can only apply once one has had a sure testimony (Knowledge) that the one and only true God does exist, then in defiance of that knowledge begins to worship other God's.

Respectfully.

Yes. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the 'Mormon' Church) pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. They consider prayer to anyone except for God the Father to be blasphemous.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) never repeat the Lord's Prayer during worship services. Mormons believe that the Lord's Prayer was given simply as an outline of what types of things should be said in a prayer, and it is not something to be repeated as an actual prayer. Mormons may memorize the prayer just as they would memorize any verse of scripture. They may also sing the Lord's Prayer as a hymn (It is not in the official Church hymnbook but the Mormon Tabernacle Choir has released a few recordings of it).
