Most DDR2 800, or better (e.g. DDR2 1066) should work, but to be sure that the RAM is compatible with the the motherboard, you can check the gigabyte webpage and download the PDF of compatible RAM-

Virtually any power supply over 250 watts with a 24 pin main connector is compatible with a Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 motherboard. This socket 775 motherboard was once very popular among enthusiasts.
The type of fan that is compatible with any motherboard is dependent on two things...
1) The form factor of the motherboard (mATX, ATX etc..)
2) The "socket" on the mother board and it's compatibility with the mounting bracket for the fan is the most important determining factor... That specific motherboard is an Intel "LGA775" socket. If I remember correctly they support some of the older celetron processors, a couple of the pentiums, a core duo and one oddball was an older Xeon server procesor.
If you find a fan that will mount on an LGA775 socket is what you need. For example, cooler master makes three or four units that have brackets for an LGA775. The LGA775 was the biggest influence on the development of the current LGA1155. Bear in mind that if you're not overclocking your processor I'd use the stock intel cooler!. Replacements are easy to obtain for the stock intel processor!
DDR2 800, 600, and 533 mhz.
Link to MB Specific information, also check which revision of MB you have, theres three revisions to that model number.

All aproved sticks of DDR2 RAM that is rated at 800MHz or lower, the board can gold a max of 8GB of DDR2 at 800MHz ( 4 of the same sticks of 2GB RAM @ 800MHz
The 60 GB model PS3 was backward compatible and the 80 GB model was released in 2007 and twice in 2008 both 2008 releases were not backward compatible
NO it is not. The only PS3 80 GB model that was backward compatible was CECHE. It was the last PS3 model that was backward compatible. Even the PS3 40 GB models CECHG and CHECHH were not backward compatible. The related link for Playstation support provides details on the different models

These two units are not compatible for conversion; minutes is time, gigabytes (GB) is computer memory.
If you are not planning to overclock, it should be.
