In the course of time it has been reported in the history of many ethnicities that the world has saffered several times floods, fire and other natural disasters that almost eliminated the human life from the face of earth. I will mention the three floods that are reported in the ancient Greek history:
A/ The Ogyges flood that happened according to Plato at 9.600 BCE; according to Varro at 2.136 BCE and according to the third source [Africanus] at 1.796 BCE
B/ The Dardanus flood that the survived people living high in the mountins found themselves in islands and Dardanus and his people moved to the island of Samothace.
C/ The Deucalion flood which happaned according to Saint Jerome circa 1.460 BCE.
There is of course and the biblical report of the flood of Noah and his ark that landed in the mountain of Ararat and is believed by all three Abrahamic religions, Judaism, Christianism and Islam.
