How do you find out what pin set a Pentium 4 Laptop processors is and can it be used in a desktop?

I'm not sure what the pinout is, but you cannot use a laptop processor in a desktop application. Most laptop processors are designed to consume less voltage and produce less heat than there desktop cousins. Only very high-end laptops use desktop processors in them, such as www.alienware.com

How much does it cost to run a computer per month?

a laptop will use between 60 and 120 watts and a desktop typically between 100 and 200 watts (not including the monitor and other peripherals). so to leave a laptop on 24/7 for a month would cost 14-30 cents per day and 4-8 dollars a month. Based on 10 cents per killowatt-hour. you can double these values for a general idea on your desktop power consumption, plus some for your monitor. As a guess: 20-25$ a month for a typical computer that is on 24/7.

What exactly is a laptop notebook?

well, for me as a modern society, i dont have either a laptop or a desktop. but soon i should have. but as a student(information technology) i preferred to use desktop, it is convenient to us to make programs with the use of its keyboard. while on the laptop, it is not easy for typing. yet, laptop can take you anywhere but are you sure ur safe to expose it on the others, maybe it will snatch it. for desktop, it is very safe in your home. the laptop is only 2 gb of memory while on the desktop it was upgraded until to 4 gb of memory. so better to use the desktop. if you are a modern type of a person, and if you want to be socialized, preferred to use laptop especially for business minded person.. we as a programmer,, we preferred to use a desktop.. They are the same. Notebook/Laptop The only difference between a Laptop and a Notebook is which manufacturer is calling it by which name. Apple calls theirs "Notebook"" and the other Windows PC vary from one model to the next. A "Netbook" IS different as it is much smaller and does not have the performance or accessories that a "Normal" Laptop/Notebook has.

What is computer memory in your opinion how much is good?

Computer MEMORY, Also known as Ram, is what speeds up your computer. Programs on your computer need memory as a temporary storage to run, only when the programs are running is it using memory. Depending on what computer you have and/or what you want and what you do on your computer. If you do a lot of multi-tasking with a lot of programs open then consider getting a 6 GB on a desktop and a 4 GB on a laptop. if you don't multi-task with multiple programs then consider getting from 4 GB on a desktop and 1-3 GB on a laptop. But usually 4 gigabytes is fine. I have a 3 GB Memory laptop with WIN7 Ultimate and it works pretty smoothly. If i had another GB for memory I would never have to worry about my laptop being slow on me
