They are very small and fit in your hand so when you go to the bathroom to insert it, no one will know you have a tampon. Also you have to pull the applicator stick out until it clicks, then you are ready to go!

∙ 9y agoCompact tampons are just applicator tampons where the applicator itself folds into itself so that it is smaller than a normal applicator tampon. The applicator requires you to pull it until it clicks to open it up and then use as you would a normal applicator tampon. It is easier just to use non-applicator tampons which are even smaller and means no waste to deal with or add to landfill.
