A concussion is basically a bruise on your brain. If you hit your head hard enough, (not that I'm saying you should) your brain can move and hit the inside of your skull. Since the brain is very sensitive, it bruises if it even touches the inside of your skull. Luckily, your brain has proective fluid inside your skull to prevent a concussion. yo mama is going to take u 2 the hospital if u get one

∙ 12y agoIf you imagine putting a lump of Jello into a wet pot or large bowl and think of the Jello as the brain and then give the pot/bowl a wallop. What happens to the Jello? It races across and hits the opposite side of the pot/bowl. That's what happens to the brain when the head is hit hard. The brain bangs against the skull on the opposite side and that's known as concussion.

∙ 10y agoA concussion wave - is a blast of energy given of when something explodes. The explosion compresses the air immediately surrounding the site of detonation. This compressed air expands outwards in all directions from the source - growing weaker the further the wave travels. Any people close to the source of detonation would be affected by the blast wave.
