Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton were competing to lead America. Although, they both had very different views. Jefferson wanted everyone to become a farmer, and saw a huge future for Agriculture. But Hamilton wanted to enforce the idea of industrialization , factories and machines. In the end, George Washington ended up choosing Hamilton's idea, as you can probably see today.
