A simile is a literary tool or figure of speech used to make a comparison, often for symbolic purposes. A simile differs from a metaphor in that it uses the words "like" or "as" to make the comparison.

1. Your smile is like a blooming flower.

2. You are as sweet as chocolate.

3. Life is like a box of chocolates.

4. Your eyes are blue as the ocean.

5. Her hair is black as the night.

A simile is a figure of speech when comparing two things that couldn't actually be. Example:

"His hands were as cold as ice."

"Jessica ran like the wind!"

"Her laundry detergent smelt just like roses."

"The curtains were as soft as silk."

"John's horse was as black as night."

Hope this helped!
